Marable has firmly established himself as one of the preeminent filmmakers working in the business with multiple high-profile projects. He directed and executive-produced the highly acclaimed Craig Robinson-led comedy, Killing It, which will be returning for a second season on Peacock and both seasons of the comedy series Woke on Hulu, which starred Lamorne Morris. Marable is set to direct Amblin’s feature film THE FALL and the highly anticipated remake of Three Men and a Baby, starring Zac Efron, for Disney+. He directed and executive produced the pilot of Grand Crew for NBC, which will also be returning for a second season.  Every pilot Marable has directed has gone on to multiple seasons. He joined Wanuri Kahiu as a series director and executive producer on Washington Black for Hulu, starring Sterling K. Brown. He will be an executive producer and director on Billionaire Class, a drama series that FOX is developing.  Currently, Marable is prepping to direct episodes for the new Disney+ series Spiderwick Chronicles.  

Marable has directed numerous acclaimed comedies on TV, including the last three seasons of IFC’s “Brockmire.” He also served as an Executive Producer and directed multiple episodes of “Insecure,” “VEEP,” “It’s Always Sunny,” “The Last OG,” and “Lodge 49”.

Marable has partnered with HBO, helming significant campaigns for the network such as “Boardwalk Empire,” “True Blood,” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.” Additionally, Marable conceptualized, produced, and directed the iconic main title sequence for HBO’s hit show “Entourage,” followed by the main title sequence for “Big Love,” which garnered him an Emmy nomination. Marable also served as the VP of Creative Services at BET to help the network market launch their original scripted programming. HBO then commissioned Marable to direct a short comedy film for the White House Correspondents’ dinner starring Julia Louis Dreyfuss as her HBO “VEEP” character, “Selina Meyer,” and then Vice President Joe Biden. The piece went viral and became a media sensation, leading BET and Akils Productions to hire Marable to direct two episodes of “The Game.”

In addition to Marable’s filmmaking career, he is the owner of Brim + Brew, a successful commercial production company he continues to run. He is also a public speaker who has given talks worldwide on creativity and the power of stories.

Marable is a United States Air Force Veteran and a married father of two who resides in Atlanta, GA.
