Nokulunga is currently the marketing head of department for the local interest channels: Mzansi Magic/1Magic/Mzansi Wethu/Channel O, at M-Net South Africa. The M-Net local interest channels have been at the forefront of the evolution of local broadcast entertainment in South Africa.
In the role Nokulunga sets the portfolio brand strategy, drives viewer acquisition, retention and key partnerships for the channels.
Prior to M-Net, Nokulunga began her career in advertising, where she cut her teeth as a brand and communication strategist. Whilst in advertising she had the pleasure to work at Ogilvy, JWT and Lowe Bull.
Nokulunga then moved on to brand management within the FMCG sector, working at Tiger Brands and Brasil Foods. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to work across key African territories: South Africa, Ghana, Angola, Kenya and DRC.
